My name is Sharon, and Shan & Co. is more than just a business to me, it’s my story of hope.

I started Shan & Co. at a time when life was really hard. I was at risk of dropping out of university because I couldn’t afford the tuition. While staying at my sister’s place during lockdown, I noticed how much she loved candles. That inspired me. I thought maybe I could try making them too, not only to survive, but to create something beautiful that brings comfort.

What started as a simple idea became my passion. I spent months learning, failing, and trying again until I finally poured my first candle. In that moment, I knew I had found more than a business I had found purpose.

Shan & Co. was born out of that journey. Every product we make carries the same heart: to bring peace, warmth, and care into your life. To me, luxury isn’t about showing off, it’s about slowing down, taking a deep breath, and enjoying the little things that make life special.

When you light a Shan & Co. candle, I want you to feel calm. When you give one as a gift, I want it to speak love. And when you use any of our products, I want you to be reminded that self-care isn’t selfish, it’s necessary.
